Untrusted program blocked

From time to time you may see a message such as the following appear when you try to run a new piece of software

This is our anti virus software stopping your program from running as it doesn't recognise it as "safe" to use. The software will be scanned and if found to be safe access is usually allowed within 48 hours. 

Please contact I.T. if this causes you any particular urgency.
